Bio
Hello! I’m Kim Farr and I teach reading at Hilltop Elementary School. I’ve been teaching for 21 years and have taught at Hilltop since the first day the doors were open at “The Top”. I love being an educator and it truly is my passion. Even when I was a little girl, I played school every day after school to many stuffed animals and imaginary students. I have an Early Childhood Education degree, Reading Endorsement certification and a former Teacher of the Year for my school.
I’ve lived my entire life in Houston County and a product of Houston County Schools. I went to Miller Elementary, Warner Robins Jr. High and Warner Robins High School. I currently live in Bonaire with my husband, Jimbo and our two boys, Jimbo and Max.
What do I enjoy doing? Well, besides reading and teaching AND teaching about reading, I enjoy traveling with my family, cooking, decorating, entertaining and watching my boys play sports. We love to travel as a family and watching sporting events such as college and NFL football, The Master’s and The Kentucky Derby. I’m a true southern girl at heart and believe in faith and family.
