Membership Requirements: 3rd, 4th, 5th graders, Teacher recommendation, Student application

Financial Obligations/Dues: $15.00, after school commitment, Saturday Competitions (Houston Co. and MGRESA)

Mondays, 3:45-5:00 pm, small notebook, pencil, volunteer supplies (boiled eggs, masking tape, and aluminum foil)

Mission/Purpose: The emphasis is on STEAM learning, participation, interaction, having fun and developing team spirit. Teamwork, group planning, cooperation, and creativity will be developed, plus the love of math and science. These STEAM events are well balanced between the various science disciplines of life science, earth science, and physical science.

Planned Activities: Science Olympiad guidelines, requirements, and activities meet the national science educational standards and will create interest in math and science. We will practice the 18 events for the local and regional Science Olympiad competitions (February & March) during our club meetings to expose and prepare the students for each event.
