The 2023-2024 school year is my 18th year teaching. I am originally from North Carolina and moved to Georgia in 2019. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2005 from Appalachian State University. I graduated in 2017 with a Master's of Library Science from East Carolina University. Teaching and helping students grow into future leaders is my passion.

I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.
