My name is Wendy Wood, and I am a Kindergarten grade teacher at HES. I have been a paraprofessional at HES for 5 years. I have always wanted to be an educator, and now I have reached that goal. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, as well as a reading endorsement from Middle Georgia State University. I am married to Jason, and we have 3 wonderful children (Bailey, Colby, Ainsley). I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing on the beach, and crafting. I believe every student can learn and that effort is proportionate to results. In other words, the harder a student works, the more successful he will become. I am excited to build relationships with my students and see them grow.
